Psychiatrist

Naila Azhar, MD

Naila Azhar is a Boston-based psychiatrist trained both in psychotherapy and medication management. Through her clinical practice, she offers a welcoming, empathic, and warm space so that patients feel confident, safe, and enthusiastic about sharing their thoughts, emotions, challenges, and goals. 

She hopes to better understand each patients inner world and how it affects his/her/their behaviors, social environment, and relationships. She helps her patients gain heightened self-awareness for making deep-seated and meaningful changes to his/her/their personality and emotional development. A little bit about her background: She was born in South Asia.  After medical school, she completed residency training at the University of CT and studied health education at Emory University. Her experience of different cultures, travel around the world, education, and training in psychiatry have taught her the wisdom and patience to understand and respect the diverse human condition and its effects on the human mind and their lives.

Dr. Azhar has extensive experience in treating patients with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and alcohol use disorder.  She has safely administered Ketamine, anxiolytic medications, and stimulants, and performed. Areas of focus include depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, personality, stress and trauma-related disorders, psychosis, focus and compulsive disorders, relationship strain, life transitions, career stresses, gender dysphoria, gender transitions myriad other challenges.

Psychiatrist

Asma Rashid, MD

Dr. Rashid is a Harvard-trained, board-certified, child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. After graduating from King Edward Medical University, she joined the Harvard School of Public Health to get her master’s in public health. She did her adult psychiatry training at the University of Connecticut and child & adolescent fellowship with Harvard University at Boston Children’s Hospital. 

Her areas of specialties are psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, child, adolescent, and adult diagnostic and medication evaluations for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Charlene Sama, NP

Charlene Sama is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She offers 18 years of experience being a dedicated, ambitious, compassionate, hard-working, and patient-focused registered nurse and nurse Practitioner. She has experience working with adolescents and adult populations and is a strong advocate for mental health.

She specializes in Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ADHD, Divorce Counseling, Medication Management and Substance Abuse. She provides evaluations for psychiatric services and psychotropic medication along with psychotherapy.

Psychiatric Physician Assistant/Prescriber

Amber Bentley, PA

Amber Bentley, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in psychiatry. She obtained her masters degree from the University of South Florida. Amber believes in an integrative approach to mental health, utilizing lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, and medications when necessary.

Her goal is to help patients attain their well-being and long-term health. She partners with each patient and help them draw their roadmap to optimal wellness whether that be through lifestyle changes, therapy or when needed medications.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Jacqueline Dubois, FNP

Jacqueline Dubois a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the accelerated Nursing program at Simmons University in 2020. She gained experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health department where she helped manage and track infectious disease during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While working as a Registered Nurse she continued my education in the Master of Science Nursing program at Simmons University where she had the opportunity to complete a clinical rotation with the Medical Director of Addiction Medicine at South Shore Health.

Through this experience she found my passion for the mental health and addiction medicine field. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Grayken Center for Treatment Bridge Program and the Office Based Addiction Treatment program through South Shore Health providing medication administration for substance use disorders. She graduated from the MSN program in 2022 and obtained my FNP board certification. She currently works in the urgent care setting delivering high quality care to a diverse patient population addressing a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.

She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care with a special focus on mental health. She is available for Initial Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations for Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Substance Use and Addiction disorders as well as Medication Management.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Prescriber

Amanda Campbell, PMHNP

Amanda Campbell is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Regis College. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, holistic care that honors the whole person. Amanda creates a safe and supportive environment where patients feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered to actively engage in their mental health journey.

Her clinical approach thoughtfully combines evidence-based psychiatric medication management with a deep respect for each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Amanda’s areas of focus include mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, perinatal mental health, and substance use disorders. She works collaboratively with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that foster long-term wellness and resilience.

Amanda is deeply committed to building strong, trusting relationships and believes that healing happens best when patients feel truly seen and supported. She invites you to take the first step toward your mental health journey with compassion and care.

Amandeep Kaur, MA

Amandeep "Bicky" Kaur , MA is a seasoned Practice Administrator whose expertise is in Strategic Planning, Business Development and Operations Management. She also has a background in Human Services: Marriage and Family Counseling.

She offers over 15 years of positive impact within medical practices, with particular exposure to and knowledge of psychiatry departments at major medical centers and large practice groups.

Additionally, she believes that good patient experiences are at the heart of sound practice management. When medical practices and departments operate well, patients and their families receive care and attention that coincide with outstanding practice operations.
